Graduation = Changes: Big Changes

To some people graduation marks the first of many big, time consuming accomplishments. To others the end of a terrible time and the beginning of the rest of their lives. It can also be the gateway to an even more challenging, fun, and exciting way to obtain an education. No matter what it means to you it will always bring change.

Many people fear change, especially high school students. Some teachers were very sensitive to this fear and would avoid saying the word change my using synonyms. Unfortunately, you can disguise that word all you want but I still know what is implied when it is said.

Even though I am looking forward to a new job, school, and living arrangements I will miss my adolescence. College signifies the passage to adulthood. This summer will be one of goodbyes. Too many if you ask me. Goodbye to Grand Junction, Greyhound, and everything that I have discovered in the last year.
