I'm On Fire (Poem 1 of 5)
I can get
Close enough
To you.
Closer, closer, closer...
It is not enough
For me!
My flesh burns,
With Anticipation,
As if the flames
Of hell were upon me.
I'm engulfed with the heat!
I sweat but
I'm cold.
I need your body
To keep me forever warm.
The hunt is enticing,
It stirs my senses and
Heightens my perception.
Although,
That does not ease
The pain of the flames.
Hopefully you can extinguish
My flames but
Not my desire.

1 Comments:
cool the water whispering
comes
cloaked within the morning
wrapsthecoals
leaves the fire wanting in
the gloaming
burning slower
drifts the druid wrapped in white
in mist and dew hew
the rock
and stand the flame
call the hunger to his name
to drive the sand to molten
wi' hi' hand he reache then gentle
touch the heart with flesh but humble
taste the flame
know the fire
seek the truth within the pyre
kiss the gem and take the same
when even' brings it's lonely pain.
